Concert 'Their Voices' to commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day
On 27 January 2024 at 6 pm, the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław will host a concert entitled 'Their Voices' to commemorate the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. It will feature works from the album "THEIR VOICES" performed by the Art Chamber Ensemble, consisting of:
Julita Przybylska-Nowak - piano
Agnieszka Kołodziej - cello
Jarosław Pietrzak - violin.
The album was released in 2022 and features works by Polish composers of Jewish origin - victims of the Holocaust. The album was published by the DUX company, and the Museum of the History of Polish Jews POLIN in Warsaw assumed honorary patronage of the publication.
The Polonia Music Art Foundation, co-publisher of the album, received a grant from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Fund for the Promotion of Culture within the framework of the "Musical Footprint" programme, and its partners were the following institutions: The Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, the Jewish Community Center in Warsaw and the sponsor, the Union of Artists and Performers STOART.

In 2023, the album was awarded the Gold Diploma of the "Muzyczne Orły" International Competition.
